Mosquito control is everyone's responsibility. The mosquitoes that carry the West Nile virus normally appear in the late summer to early fall. To eliminate these pests, it is important to look around your home for conditions that serve as a breeding ground for them. Any amount of standing water will, over time, generate larvae and hatch adult mosquitoes. It is far easier to control the pests in the larvae stage than when they are adults and are airborne. Eliminate standing water around your home, and the mosquito population will decrease.
