History
of Del City
Del City became a part of Oklahoma in 1948 and was
the dream of George Epperly. The City was named after
Mr. Epperly's daughter Delphinia. Since its inception,
the city has served both military and civilan residents.
In honor of Oklahoma's
rich history the city houses the County & Western
Museum, Del City Preservation & Historical
Society, and War Memorial.

Wrestler grew up in Del City
Oklahoma and attended Del City High School.
Mr. Smith is currently the wrestling
coach for Oklahoma State University (OSU).
